California Guided Goose Hunt
Goose Hunt Details
Our Guided Goose Hunts are available in both the Balance of State & North Eastern Zones (subject to availability). We have properties available throughout the state, allowing us to scout and provide the best possible opportunities for our clients.
Our Goose Hunts are often in dry fields and we primarily target either Specklebelly Geese (white fronts/”specks”) or Snow Geese depending on the birds in the area. We try our best to give opportunities to shoot both species if possible.
Our Dry Field Hunts and pit blind hunts are half-day hunts, meaning we usually shoot until approximately noon.
We accommodate all skill and fitness levels. Hunters can be taken to the field or pit via atv.
All of our Guided Goose Hunts are group hunts between 4 and 8 hunters depending on the day and property.

What to Expect
Hunters can expect to arrive 30 minutes to 1 hour before shoot time. Your group’s gear will be placed in jet sleds and brought to the blind, pit or field we will be hunting for the day. Hunters will then be driven to the hunt area and will be given a brief safety discussion as well as a discussion on expectations and blind etiquette.
Hunters will gather their belongings, load their shotguns, and get ready for their first shot opportunities. Upon harvesting birds, our expert guides and their dogs will retrieve any downed birds and promptly get ready for the next opportunities.
Upon completion of your hunt (around 12pm), guns and gear will be loaded and transported to where your vehicles are located. All hunters will get a ride back to their vehicles and then birds will be split between members of the group before leaving the property.
Tips for the guide & help are not necessary, but are greatly appreciated.
