Guided Pig Hunt
Details
Our Guided Pig Hunts are one day hunts in Northern California at one of our beautiful ranch locations. Your guided pig hunt will begin before dawn as you head to the pre-scouted hunting location.
Hunters should be physically able to walk hills and short distances, as well as be prepared to take shots between 40 and 250 yards.
The pigs can range from 60 to 300+ pounds if you spot a local wild boar on your hunt. Upon harvest, animals will be gutted and prepared for transport.
Hunters can count on terrain variations of oak studded hills and open fields or even dense brush. West Coast Guide Service will accommodate all skill levels as well as fitness levels, but hunters should know that the hunts will be limited based on their own limitations.

What to Expect
Hunters will arrive 30-45 minutes before shoot time (30 minutes before sunrise). Our expert Pig Hunting Guide will take you to a pre-scouted area in which we have located pigs in the area or recent sign of them (rooting or wallows). Hunters will be situated in a ground blind or more commonly behind or near brush or a large oak tree.
If a hunt is unsuccessful in the early morning, hunters will have the option to adjust to a spot and stalk method of finding wild pigs. Our wild pig guides are able to accommodate hunters of all skill levels and fitness levels and are able to cover lots of ground utilizing our off road vehicles.
Our goal is always to present the best possible shot opportunity for our clients. Hunters should expect and prepare to be able to accurately shoot between 30 and 250 yards. Please come prepared with the appropriate equipment for this range of shot.
